What is AviClear?

AviClear uses the power of laser light to selectively target and suppress sebaceous glands, eliminating acne at the source without the need for prescription medications. Acne forms when sebum, the oily substance on your skin, combines with dead skin cells and clogs your pores. Most acne treatments target other things that cause acne, but they don’t target the production of sebum, so they don’t provide a meaningful solution. Aviclear does.

How do these treatments resolve acne?

It typically requires three 30-minute treatments with AviClear to make a dramatic difference. 9 out of 10 patients have said that they are satisfied or very satisfied with their results. Long after treatment is completed, you’ll continue to see improvement. And there is very little discomfort. AviClear is equipped with exclusive AviCool™ skin cooling and sensory controls that maintain our skin’s temperature during treatment for a more comfortable experience.

Award-Winning Acne Treatment

Results you can count on

Three 30-minute treatments take place 4-6 weeks apart. 92% of patients treated with AviClear saw at least half of their acne resolve at 12 months following treatment. And results may continue to improve with time — even several months after your treatment sessions are finished.

how does acne form?

In healthy skin, the sebaceous glands make sebum that empties onto the skin surface through the pore, an opening in the follicle. When someone has acne, the hair, sebum, and keratinocytes (a type of skin cell) stick together inside the pore. This allows bacteria that normally live on the skin to grow in the plugged follicles and cause inflammation and pimples. AviClear directly treats the sebum, allowing the pore to remain effective.
